Improved method of horizontal drainage layer installation using a doja

1. Method overview

This is a method of installing ground reinforcement materials (sand, other horizontal drainage materials, backfill materials, etc.) over a wide area at a relatively low unit price while minimizing ground movement by using a conveyor distribution installation device that minimizes the ground pressure of the equipment instead of using the existing work method of a doja when installing a horizontal drainage layer on soft ground.

2. Method characteristics

1) Minimizing uplift and destruction by preventing concentrated loads

   The installation thickness can be adjusted (over 10 cm) and the ground movement can be suppressed by minimizing ground contact by installing a wide track 

2) Easy to secure a wide area by using a long-axis conveyor 

   The same width and thickness can be installed by using a lightweight conveyor belt device (e.g. B [width] = 700 mm, L [extension] = 50 m), and the installation width can be adjusted by the length of the conveyor belt device. 

3) Easy to adjust the thickness of the distribution spreading device

  A mobile distribution spreading device is 
installed on the conveyor belt surface, so the thickness can be adjusted according to the moving speed of the distribution spreading device.

3. Construction method and order

1) Install a forced dry sand spreading device

2) Install a sand transport drain pipe

3) Inject air and operate the drain motor

4) 1st spreading (laying a thickness that can be entered by personnel)

5) Extend or shorten the drain pipe

6) 2nd spreading (laying a thickness that can be entered by wetland guides and clamshells)

7) Move the equipment and continuously perform 1) to 6) tasks
