Soft Ground Dewatering Method

1. Method Overview

1) A method to dewater the soil layer by driving sand piles into soft clay soil and dewatering the soil layer to the surface through the sand piles to consolidate and strengthen the ground in a short period of time.

2) Used in parallel with the Preloading method (pre-consolidation method)

3. Construction Method and Order 

1) Set the casing at the pouring location

2) Casing penetration. 

3) Sand injection. 

4) Casing extraction. 

5) Repeat steps 3) to 4). 

6) Move to the next construction location.
